The Norman Crawford papers consist of the personal papers and administrative records that belonged to Norman Crawford, a majority of which were created during his time as President of Salisbury State College (now Salisbury University), 1970-1980. Although many of Crawford’s personal papers date prior to his arrival at Salisbury in 1970, there are materials, some of which relate to his continuing relationship with Salisbury, that date after 1980.

Wilbur Devilbiss Papers

The Wilbur Devilbiss Papers document the Salisbury Teachers College president's tenure (1955-1968) at the school in the academic years 1956-57, 1960-61, and 1963-64, as well as his participation in higher education through evaluation of regional schools and his studies of state and national education. Included are his alphabetical administrative files for the three academic years listed. Also included are: evaluation materials for Dover High School (1959), Edinboro State College (1960-1961), Newark Senior High School (1955-1958), and St. Michaels Junior-Senior High School (1956-1957); Rotary International (1938-1963) and Rotary Club of Salisbury, Maryland (1944-1945, 1964-1965) documents, and hundreds of publications related to all aspects of higher education.
